Until it started off this morning with rain. Fat freaking rain mixed with snow.
And did you know, when it snows, it's cold? Really cold. Because I forgot about that.
I have already started the Christmas cookie preparations. Kenzie and I made Frango mints and peanut butter balls already. I am also baking bread as we speak. Later today, I am making the sugar and gingerbread cookies so they will be ready to decorate tomorrow with the kids. We will also be baking whoopie pies, Spritz cookies, and toffee bars. I am debating on whether or not to bake cinnamon rolls.
I also have to attend a birthday party this afternoon AND run to the store (again) for more powdered sugar. I have 10 pound bags of regular sugar, super fine sugar, and brown sugar, but I totally forgot powdered sugar. And all frostings call for powdered sugar.
Oh, and I have a soccer board meeting tonight as well. Luckily, we are having dinner paid for by our soccer club, so yippee for me, I don't have to make dinner. Because if Momma ain't eating dinner at home, Momma ain't making it. My guesses for Daddy prepared dinner are mac& cheese, sandwiches, or a phone call to Pizza Hut.
But Happy Holidays from the Ferris bakers!

Slow down! Reading that made me want to take a nap! ;)
I wish it snowed here...:(
Please send me and my starving unborn child a pan of cinnamon rolls, please and thank you ;-)
Mmmmm... eating some of those cinnamon rolls right now. There's so many, I only have to eat the warm chewy center...
