Welcome to the world, Kaden! And Welcome also to Melody!

Is the whole world pregnant or what? Not anymore, because they all seem to be having their babies.

Our friends, Paul and Sarah had baby Kaden early this morning at 1:45 am. Luckily her labor went as quickly as anyone could hope for. He weighed in at 5 pounds 10 ounces and was a whopping 19 inches long.

Paul is the brother of Jason, the father of Ava. Remember, we welcomed her on Dec. 24. He is also Jay's old roommate and our companion on our Magic Mountain trip. The Oregon Coast obviously has something in the water.

Another addition is for my friend Heather and her husband Josh. They welcomed Melody Ladeen on January 31 at 5:59 pm. She weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces, and was 17 1/2 inches long. She looks just like her mommy!

Heather was one of my closest friends freshman and sophomore year until she up and left us to move back to California. Kidding. Kinda. Her, Melissa, and I were like the 3 Amigos and had many, many matching outfits. Remember body suits; we had matching velvet ones. That we wore with jean cut-offs and ribbed tights. Cause we were hot like that. We also liked to peroxide our hair and then straighten the hell out of it. Needless to say, it was stick straight and fried beyond belief. But hot! Let's not forget hot.

Anyway, I just wanted to say to our dear friends, Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful children. Jay and I cannot wait to meet them and have them grow up listening to horror stories about their parents.

yay! babies!

i also had several bodysuits. i wore them with my girbauds and made my jeans sag just enough so you could see my hips where the body suit ended. if i wasn't busting the sag (which meant i got caught by Dad), then i had a lovely braided leather belt holding them up.

good times.
