I've got nothin'

But I've got pictures. So there. We did nothing for New Years. I mean, we got drunk, and I had the "I'm gonna vomit, wait, no I'm not, wait I am, oh, thank goodness, false alarm" feeling all day yesterday, but that's not exactly new to me either. I went shopping anyway, and only had to swallow a small amount of vomit when I pulled my sweater over my head too fast and I stumbled a little, thus causing my stomach to basically tell me to "fuck off, here take this". You know you've had that feeling, too. Don't lie.

I took my kidlets to the zoo on New Year's Eve, and even though it was biting cold (I heard an old guy say this somewhere) we still had fun. The animals were sparse, as they are smarter than us and stayed inside. Mason has never been there, so the experience was new to him. He really liked the monkeys.

I swear my daughter is not picking her noise in the middle picture. She was scratching it. At least that's what she said. And I bought them these masks at the gift shop. I never buy them stuff at the zoo shop, but these were cute and worth the lecture I would get from Jay about "ruining the budget" and not "consulting the spreadsheet". Wait, he didn't lecture me? Holy crap, that means he did something I have yet to find out about. OR....he realized that $12 is just $12. Nah, he did something.

My dog goes in to get his balls taken off or whatever they do on Friday. My step-dad is really on my case to not do it, but I am tired of the bad looks I get from "responsible' dog owners at the dog park. I'm also hoping it will stop him from trying to mount everything.

Mason goes home on Saturday. This makes me sad. We have had a great time these past 2 weeks, and I am going to miss him a lot! I don't miss the fighting over school work or dragging him to his many practices, but I miss seeing him all the time. So here is one last picture of him and I from the zoo.

What great pics! I felt the same way all day New Years day. Ugh. I'm not sure NOT vomiting was the way to go.

Happy New Year!

Well, it's worth a shot, but personally I don't see how having your dog's balls removed is going to stop your step-dad from mounting everything.

How did you know I had that feeling about vomiting? You're psychic, surely. LOL

Happy new year! From the looks of it, you guys really rocked it.

My dog was de-balled too early and he had some kind of stunted penis growth. Now he is a big damatian with a wee willie winkie. It's slightly amusing.

Well not to him...I guess that's why he keeps trying to have sex with the cat...

I so know how you feel about the vomit creeping up. Ugh. *shudder*

Your chirrens are so freaking cute!! I bought my nephew the same mask last time we went to the zoo. He got me by putting it on first, then asking if he could have it. Cute zebras get me every time.

I've never had to have a dog's or a step father's balls removed. Good luck with that one!
