Tribute to soccer

Since soccer is almost upon us, again, I thought I would show you my soccer star throughout the years. Besides, picture posts are quick and easy, and I have shit to do. His party is 2 days away, and I am having my kitchen redone, which means I have cabinets outside drying, and another coat of paint that still needs to be done, plus tons of ice cream to prepare, and a whole ton of laundry that keeps building, and VBS homework to do with the kids, and....and.....and....you get the picture, right. I am a very busy woman. Enjoy.

I believe this is his first year of soccer, but I could be wrong.

Soccer can be a very messy sport.

I think this was his second year, and I say that because I think those are his cleats from year 2.

His one and only season of indoor soccer. He didn't like it as well, obviously.

This was last year. His dad is in the background.

Year 2, I think. His step-mom took this picture and titled it "Soccer Moments". I love this picture, and I am very glad she sent it to me.

In case you had missed it, all the teams in his league are sponsored by Nike, which is cool. Their uniforms are probably the neatest looking and most professional out of the whole Portland Metro area. It pays to have Nike in your city, I tell you.

How do you handle those kind of schedules, lady? It makes me tired thinking about it.

Also, how do I get my hands on some of that Guiness Stout Chocolate ice cream? Because I have been able to think of nothing but that since you mentioned it.

Princess: Email me your address and I'll send you the recipe. Do you have an ice cream maker?

Oh, oh, will you send me the recipe, too?

I just got a call tonight from D's soccer coach. He got put in the wrong league... which, um, great. Such a pain in the ass. Soccer season is my favorite though. I'm dreading when he gets older and it coincides with football.

Speaking of Nike, you guys should try and sell that pic to them. That's a really great pic!
