A great view of the mountain range. Nature sure is pretty from a distance.
Evan and Charlie checking out the water.
Kenzie and a stone fish. You can just see the ferry docking behind her.
Evan on a stone turtle. Charlie peed on it a second later.

I hope you're day was a nice as ours. I was able to enjoy the kids, exercise the dog, and get a good walk in for us. The kids want to go back tomorrow with a bucket so they can collect more shells. It's supposed to start snowing soon, so I guess I should get in as much of the great outdoors as I can.

Is that really the ocean in the background of your pictures???
Damnit! I've never seen the ocean in person before. I'm so jealous!
I know, I know...I need to get out more
Dyck: Um, no, actually. They aren't old enough yet. But thanks for the concern.
Rev: No, it's the Puget Sound. An inlet from the ocean. Where do you live? You're a middle stater, aren't you? I told Jay I would move anywhere, as long as it borders the ocean. I don't want to be more than 2 hours from the ocean at any given time. You should really go see it someday! It is so pretty and it smells so clean.
Your offspring is so freaking cute! Your day looks way better than mine. Glad you had a good one!
It looks like you guys had a great day. Max and I stayed in and watched lots of TV over the past three or four days. We should get out more. ;)
It has been SO lovely... cold as shit, but it doesn't seem so when the sun is shining.
That stone fish is a bit weird looking, ain't it?
Your kids are adorable!
No snow? Lucky girl.
Awww sounds like a wonderful day! Its been pouring for 2 days straight down here. We shall not be going to the dog park this weekend. :(
